Audi A8L was launched at 
world’s tallest building Burj Khalifa in
Dubai. With the cosmetic changes and more efficient engine Audi A8L
comes with optional Matrix LED Headlights. Many prominent socialites,
entrepreneurs and even celebrities were present at the launch; among all
of them Hollywood actor Nicolas Cage was main attraction who starred in
the movie “Gone in the sixty seconds”.
The new Audi is with plusher interiors and revised dampers to improve ride quality. For Indians to make premium car more appealing, Audi India is offering a host of customization options to its customers. This includes an impressive 100 exterior colors, 23 options of interior colors and 12 different wood finish to choose from.
Launch of Audi A8L 2014 is well timed as it was needed because of its arch rival Mercedes-Benz has introduced Mercedes-Benz S-Class which got praises from all quarters. It was the time to show something new with improvement.
Audi A8L has its main important component, its headlamps. Audi’s lights have been making it distinct and have researched well on this. That is the introduction of completely new LED headlamps and the optional Matrix LEDs. Let it be the use of LEDs, styling of day-time-running-lights or the creative indicator design. Just have the right boxes ticked to opt for the high-tech Matrix setup, which contains more than two dozen individual LEDs in each headlight. These are connected to the in-built front cameras which scan the road and automatically turn off the sections of beam to avoid dazzling the oncoming cars or pedestrians. The main feature of this system ideal for India is that, it still keeps the area around the object illuminated, giving visibility to the rest of road. At international level, it also uses information from the satellite navigation system to anticipate a turn and accordingly the corner angle which then adjusts the headlight focus.
